Application Methods

Thanks to our advanced machinery, Lux Workwear offers a variety of techniques to apply your logo to garments of your choice.

Embroidery

Embroidery is a fantastic choice for creating a professional and durable look, making it popular among employers to give their teams a cohesive identity while promoting their brand.

For embroidery, your logo is digitised and stitched onto the garment using high-quality threads and state-of-the-art embroidery machines. A metal frame holds the garment in place, with backing fabric applied to secure the logo area. While this process might leave temporary marks, these can easily be removed by rubbing or washing.

Embroidery is best suited for items such as polo shirts, business shirts or blouses, aprons or tabards, jackets, and headwear. We ensure every stitch meets our high-quality standards.

Transfer Printing

Transfer printing is a versatile method, ideal for designs with fewer colours. Think of it like the names and numbers on football shirts. In this process, a sheet of vinyl is cut to the exact shape of your design, flipped, and then heat-sealed onto the garment using a heat press.

Vinyl transfer works especially well for simpler designs with one or two colours and is a great option for smaller quantity orders. It’s compatible with most garments, though we recommend it particularly for Hi-Vis items. However, this method isn’t suitable for fleece or wool garments.

Quality Standards

To maintain our high standards, we do not provide embroidery on garments with a weight below 175gsm. Lightweight materials can’t hold the embroidery well and often pucker, compromising the polished finish we strive for. This ensures every logo we create has the professional appearance you expect from Lux Workwear.

Whatever your choice, our cutting-edge embroidery and printing technology will bring your logo to life with exceptional quality.
